Overview

A minimally invasive procedure to open Blocked arteries in the limbs—usually legs—restoring blood flow and relieving symptoms like leg pain, cramping, or non-
healing wounds.

What It Is

Using imaging guidance, a small balloon is inserted into the blocked artery, inflated to widen the vessel, and often followed by placement of a stent to keep it open
permanently.
